Writing these 7 Ebay Sales posts is quite motivating for me, looking back over sales we’ve had and working out profit (or loss) on each one encourages me to get listing if I’m having an off day so I hope you enjoy reading them. Here’s another 7 random Ebay Sales we’ve shipped out this week.
Item: Breville Crepe Maker
Paid: £5 (car boot sale)
I like buying electrical items if they look like they’re in really good condition, and this one was boxed and looked like it had only been used a couple of times so I was happy to pay £5 for it. Hubby’s quite sceptical about buying electrical things as he’s certain they’re going to be broke … but most of the time people are quite honest and they do work! I think this was on it’s second 30 day cycle when it sold.

Item: 101 Dalmatians Quilt Cover, Pillowcase & Dalmatian Plush
Paid: £3 for the bedding and £4 for the plush so £7 in total (charity shop & car boot sale)
I bought the Dalmatian Soft Toy first at a car boot sale and paid £4 for it as it had the Disney stamp on the paw. It had been listed for a couple of months with no takers so when I saw the Dalmatian bedding in a charity shop for £3 I grabbed it and listed the two together. They sold pretty quick. When hubby was packing it up he noticed a small tear in the quilt cover. I’m sure this wasn’t there when I photographed it so it may have snagged on the shelf when I was getting it out to post. I messaged the buyer to explain and said she could cancel the order or I could refund her £5 for it being torn. She said she was still very happy to buy it and didn’t want me to refund her anything! Sometimes customers are really nice.

Item: Jellycat Bunny Comforter
Paid: £1.99 (charity shop)
I love Jellycat toys, they’re just so soft, but I’d never seen a Jellycat comforter, so when I spotted it in the charity shop I had to buy it. There’s not a great profit in it and this one took a few cycles to sell but I’d probably still pick them up again.

Item: Carved African Mask
Paid: £10 (auction)
See my post from 15 July with the first of these African Mask Ebay Sales. I made a loss on the first one due to getting carried away on the bidding! I’ve still got the biggest one left … fingers crossed it sells.

Item: Jamaican Reggae Band Figures
Paid: £1.67 (car boot sale)
Hubby spotted these at the car boot sale. There were two other little sets on the table, one was an orchestra and the other a jazz band. He loves this kind of thing so he bought them all for £5. The Reggae band were the first ones to sell and the others are still listed so I’ll let you know how they get on.

Item: M&S Sandals
Paid: £3.49 (M&S Sale)
I usually miss all the bargains in the M&S sales but this time we managed to catch it and grab some good stuff. I got a couple of pairs of these sandals and some women’s clothing which are all still listed. Hubby also got himself a £200 suit reduced to just under £20! Came in very handy as we had a couple of weddings to go to.

Item: Wallis Shift Dress
Paid: £7 (charity shop)
This has been my favourite item of clothing I’ve ever picked up. The dress was gorgeous and if it had been my size I would probably have kept it. The sleeves were those 60s style ‘split bell’ type – very hippy-esque. It was listed longer than I thought it would be and was just about to change the photos (as I don’t think the ones I took did it justice) when it sold. The customer was very happy with it.
