July continues to be a quiet month for Ebay sales but they never dry up completely! Here’s another 7 random items that I’ve sold and shipped out this week.
Item: 12 Vintage Issues of the Boy’s Own Paper
(This was yet another book sold that was part of the job lot of vintage books from the auction I mentioned in last week’s Ebay Sales 8 July 2018 post).
Paid: 84p
Sold for £20.00 + £4.75 P&P
Profit after Ebay & Paypal Fees: £16.89 (running total profit for the auction lot £70.98)
Item: Set of Cornflakes Bowls & Mugs
Paid: £6 (charity shop)
I’ve had these listed for about a year and the price has been lowered, raised and lowered again. I was really pleased to see the back of these and won’t be picking them up again!

Item: Per Una Lacy Dress
Paid: £2.00 (charity shop)
Probably had this listed for about 6 months. It’s a really pretty dress and the photos didn’t really do it justice. Maybe it took a while to see because it was fairly see-through.

Item: Carved African Mask
This came as part of a job lot of 3 masks from a local auction. I paid £49.60 for the three which was probably too much – a good example of getting carried away on auction day! They are three different sizes and this one was the middle sized one. I’ll keep you posted if the other two sell.
Paid: £15 (I’ve split the £49.60 into three amounts taking into account their differing sizes)
Sold for £15 + £7 P&P
Loss after Ebay & Paypal fees: £(3.82). I’ve counted this as a loss but obviously if the other two sell I’ll see if I made a profit overall. However this was a good lesson learned to stick to the maximum bidding amount I set myself.
Item: Tommee Tippee Milk Prep Machine
Paid: £8.50 (car boot sale)
If they don’t come with the instructions I usually print them out from the internet. These always sell really quick for me.

I loved this shirt and so did someone else as it sold within a couple of weeks of listing.

Item: Woody Woodpecker Plush
Paid: £2.99 (charity shop)
I used to love Woody Woodpecker when I was a kid so I couldn’t leave him behind in the charity shop. I thought he might have been worth a bit more but he’d been listed for a few months so I included him in my summer sale and I’m happy to say he’s off to a good home.

So a bit of an eclectic week of ebay sales- some good and some not so good but I’m pleased to have moved some ‘sticky stock’ and it’s all part of the reselling learning curve.
