Ebay sales are starting to come in thick and fast now as we move into the fourth quarter of the year where everyone is thinking about Christmas. Although that’s certainly a good thing it means I have to get out to more car boot sales, auctions and charity shops to source more stock! It’s going to be a busy few weeks but in the meantime here’s my roundup of 7 random Ebay Sales we’ve shipped out recently.
Item:Â Lascal Buggy Board
Paid: £3 (car boot sale)
Hubby spotted this one, I would probably have walked straight past without noticing. But he remembered another reseller (Ben Fitzpatrick) talking about them on his YouTube channel. (Ben no longer has his YouTube reselling channel as he decided he needed to focus more on his reselling business – which is a shame for us as we loved and learned a lot from his videos). The buggy board fits on the back of a buggy (pram) for a toddler to stand on – great if you have a baby in the buggy and your toddler gets tired of walking. If you spot a buggy board make sure it has the straps with it and they must be uncut so they’ll fit your buggy properly. This was a quick ebay sale – the buyer sent me an offer of £30 and asked if they could collect. I decided to accept as it saved the hassle of packaging it up and posting it out.

Item:Â Taj Mahal 3D Jigsaw Puzzle
Paid: £3 (car boot sale)
This was new & sealed so it was a no-brainer. Jigsaws usually go quickly around this time of the year and the 3D ones are popular as gifts. I would normally sell new & sealed jigsaws into Amazon to sell but the BSR (Best Seller Rank) was pretty bad meaning it doesn’t sell often, so I decided to list it on Ebay.

Item:Â River Island Design Forum Dress by Katie Eary
Paid: £2 (car boot sale)
Apparently River Island work with the British Fashion Council to commission designers to create limited edition collections and Katie Eary was one of them. I didn’t know this when I picked it up, I just loved the print. It’s amazing what you find out when you’re researching something you’ve bought. While I was doing the research I came across this picture of a model wearing it so I used it in my Ebay listing – looks so much better on a person than it does on a mannequin.

Item:Â Scrabble Deluxe
Paid: £3 (car boot sale)
Another of hubby’s pickups, he’s always drawn to vintage looking scrabble and this was a good one.  Made me almost want to have a game. There’s always a risk when you pick up a game that has lots of pieces that there’s going to be something missing but this was complete apart from the instructions. It went within the first week of listing.

Item:Â Hitachi DVD/VCR Combo
Paid: £5 (car boot sale)
I hadn’t seen any of these for a while and then I bought two in one day. The first one sold within a couple of weeks but this one hung around for about 2 months. Which was quite handy as I had a few video cassette tapes I’d recorded stuff on years ago – things like the kids birthday parties, so it gave me a chance to go through them all and label them (I haven’t had a video player in years). Now I just need to get them put onto DVD. This wasn’t a machine that would record video to DVD – they go for much more money, but this type are still well worth picking up.

Item:Â Wooden Gavel

Another of hubby’s pickups. I wasn’t very convinced that this would sell but after about 3 cycles it did! I did some research before listing it and found that keywords like ‘best man’ and ‘wedding’ were popular as well as the usual ones like ‘court’ and judge’. I’d love to know what the buyer is actually going to do with it.

Item:Â K’Nex Bundle
Paid: £4 for two bundles
I had two bundles of K’nex listed separately – I think for about £22 each plus post (which was £6.49 per bundle as it’s quite heavy). The buyer messaged me and asked if I would accept £48 for both bundles including postage. (Only one bundle pictured below).  I decided to accept as that’s a very nice profit. I always pick up K’Nex if it’s cheap enough as it’s a quick seller.

I think one of my favourite ebay sales this time was the DVD/VCR as I was able to use it to complete a job I’d been going to do for a long time, and then sell it on. Always a bonus.
