The Brownie Delivery Bringing Chocolatey Goodness To Your Door

Don’t you just love relaxing with a cup of coffee and a slice of something sweet? It always makes me feel happy … whatever the weather. So when I was recently asked by Chummy’s Bakery if I’d like to receive a sample box of their brownies there was only one answer … YES PLEASE! Who wouldn’t want a brownie delivery straight to their door?

Brownies by post

Chummy’s Bakery ships scrumptious brownies, cookies, cupcakes and other goodies to customers around the UK. Use their website to order online … just choose which brownie delivery box you want to receive. Either their Bestseller Box or a Mixed Box of 6 or 12 and select your favourite flavours which include:

  • Kinder Bueno
  • Snickers
  • Nutella
  • Ferrero Rocher
  • Lotus Biscuit
  • Chocolate Orange
  • Mars
  • Original Recipe
  • Salted Caramel
  • Mint Aero
  • Triple Chocolate
  • Oreo

Once you’ve selected your flavours and box size it’s a simple case of choosing the date you want your brownie delivery. You can also opt to have a gift tag and ribbon attached with a personal message from you … great option if you want your brownie delivery to be a gift.

Your brownies by post will shipped via DPD Next Day Delivery (the day prior to the one you select during checkout. On the day before my brownie delivery I was sent an email to confirm they would be arriving the next day and that they would tell me my 1 hour time slot by 11am on the delivery day. I can confirm this is exactly what DPD did and I was able to ask my daughter to pop up and wait in for the brownies arriving. I kindly offered her two of the brownies in exchange 🙂

My brownie delivery arrived within the time slot and my daughter (Nicola) said she could smell the chocolate before she even opened the box! Chummy’s Bakery send their brownies out in eco-friendly boxes. Inside the box there is a layer of shredded paper on the bottom, then the brownies are wrapped in greaseproof paper, secured with a string bow and a cute little card confirming which brownies were included in my delivery.

In my sample brownie delivery there were 6 brownies: Original Recipe, Mint Aero, Lotus Biscuit, Oreo, Chocolate Orange and Kinder Bueno.

Nicola took the Oreo and the Lotus Biscuit Brownies … which she thoroughly deserved for waiting in for the delivery. I went for the Original Recipe and the Chocolate Orange and my hubby had the Mint Aero and the Kinder Bueno.

Mixed Box of Brownies Delivered to My Door

I can honestly say these are the best brownies I have ever tasted! Chummy’s website describes them as having a “slightly crunchy outer layer with a soft, gooey texture in the middle”, and they’re not wrong. The outside was satisfyingly crunchy and the inside was a deliciously soft, gooey, rich chocolately goodness. The chocolate orange brownie was definitely my favourite. I asked my hubby and daughter what they thought and they both thought the brownies were excellent. Nicola did say the Lotus Biscuit brownie could have tasted a little more ‘lotus biscuit’ but she still gave it an 8.5. My hubby actually gave his a 10 … which is remarkable as he is usually hard to please.

We ate our brownies just as they were but I notice the little card said Chummy’s recommended popping them in the microwave for 10-20 seconds and maybe even add a dollop of ice cream. I think I’ll have to order some more just so I can try this … it sounds yummy.

Chummy’s Bakery also say your brownies will taste best when eaten within 3-5 days of your brownie delivery but you can store them in a airtight container for up to 2 weeks, or even freeze them for up to 3 months.

I would 100% recommend a brownie delivery from Chummy’s Bakery, whether you want them for yourself or as a gift for someone else. Delivery was quick and stress free and the brownies themselves were delicious.

Which flavours would you choose?
